Virgin Australias chief executive has called for the countrys borders to be reopened before the stated goal of mid-2022, saying it made long-term sense even if some people may die.
Speaking at a business lunch in Brisbane on Monday, Jayne Hrdlicka said she did not agree with the current stated reopening date of mid-2022 put forward by the federal government in last weeks federal budget.
